The Gentle Giant and The Opera Goddess

I genuinely mean this when I say these clients are two of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. I was absolutely honored when they reached out about a year ago expressing interest in purchasing their first home, and chose me as their agent. We began our journey through several homes; they would ask thoughtful questions, stretch their imagination on the projects they could potentially tackle, and envision the gardens they would grow. Soon they learned their modest budget was one shared by many, and the buyer's market pushed back on them a bit- though their positive attitude never wavered. One sunny afternoon my phone rang and they were giddy that they believed they found their home during an open house, I quickly headed over to the house to view it. I entered the home from the large back yard and my heart melted as I entered the naturally lit kitchen with updated appliances, the wood burning fireplace in the living room, and pictured the front room perfect for singing lessons and a piano. The finished basement offered the opportunity for a renter or guests.. it was simply perfect. My heart was torn with excitement and anxiety- how were we going to compete? How would we get this house!? I am a firm believer that when it’s right, it works.. They kept their chin up, their confidence strong, and submitted their affectionate letter with their offer, then we all held our breath with hopeful energy. Today, we close on this perfect house and I get to hand two of my favorite people on the planet the keys to their new home. I can’t wait to share a meal prepared in the spacious kitchen, watch their garden flourish, and make new memories together! Cheers my dear friends, thank you for allowing me to be part of your great adventure!
